knowing how to play the game, and be effective, and be smart about your actions makes you good. or 'leet' if you wanna call it that.
unfortunately less than 1% of guild wars' population can do this. that's why when you come across a good mes, or war, or ranger, people know it and point it out. like it's a rarity or something. where's my quality control, genocide of the bads.

this pretty much sums it up.

Having a rare item in GW doesn't really mean much in GW, just means that you farm all day. what truly makes you elite is your skills and knowledge of the game, but skills are only really seen in PvP, which doesnt interest most of you I presume.

No, actually Hawk has it right. It does not matter if it is in PvP or PvE, a leet player just does their job 'nuf said.

Just like in real life, anything that have spent time on and has gotten success.
I would say, most Gwamm's are pretty leet, not that it's hard, but nothing is in GW... It's just dedication.
Leet I think is a wide term, you can be a leet Powertrader/pvp'er/PvE'er/collector or whatever.
If you have skills, good titles and know how to make cash/trade I'd say ur pretty leet.
But that's just me.

Many things can make individuals feel someone is Leet.
•Achievements can make you appear Leet.
•Running an active Guild can make you appear Leet.
However I know what isn't Leet.
•Buying gold to purchase items and therefore not earnt to be seen as Leet.
•Only playing assassin.
•Relying on guild and alliance to do everything and putting no effort in and eventually getting Achievements through this.
•Letting everyone in your group listen to your crap chit chat as soon as something goes wrong. Pulling group together and winning would be Leet.

I have to agree. Being leet is not what you say. It's not acting leet, but how you treat those around you. Being friendly and helpful helps a lot.

The only real leet players in this game are the ones who makes the builds, all the 99% sheeps copy, who invented 55 is leet 600/smite is leet, sabway is leet, top guilds are leet, all others are only mindless sheeps who think they are more than they really are only for grinding 2000 hours with copied wikibuilds to buy e-peen stuff.
so:
You invented build everyone copies: You are leet
You copy builds or make builds that sucks: You suck, doesn't matter if you have all the mini pandas of the game, you suck. Enough saying

55 is a classic build that no one person created, rather plenty of different people took the idea of taking 5 damage with 55 life from PS and went from there. not just one person, that's absolutely ridiculous. you must be very new to the game if you don't remember all the variants of 55 monk builds that were being passed around in its prime.
same with 600/smite. evolved through many different people through trial and error to the standard it is now.
and 'sabway' is stupid, people have been using MM/SS necro hero combinations to benefit from SR since nightfall release, adding an old school spiritway n/rt to the mix was an absolute no-brainer and is way too obvious for any one person to be taking credit for.
and by the way you've used one of those builds before, so by your own asinine standards you suck. how's that make you feel, champ?
